FAQ

Breathwork comprises various forms of rythmic breathing where you consciously breathe in a specific way. For example, you can control if you breathe through your nose or mouth, how long you in- or exhale, or on what part of your body you focus your breath on.

There are many types of Breathwork with different goals. I am specialised in Diamond Breathwork which is a form of energetic Breathwork where the goal is not only to calm your nervous system, but to give you access to altered, higher states of consciousness. This way you can see and feel far beyond your current state of mind, and initiate deep inner transformation.
With my clients and myself, I’ve always witnessed deep changes after a Diamond Breathwork session. However, I cannot guarantee results, and the depth of transformation depends on how open and ready you are for change or new perspectives.
Before we start the breathwork practice, you have the opportunity to discuss and finalise your intentions: what you want to get out of your session, what you want to re-program within yourself.

Then we start with the breathwork practice, which you can do either seated or lying down. First we calm your nervous system through a meditative breath. Then I invite you to focus on your intention, before I guide you into a regulated, rythmic breath during which you experience a higher state of consciousness. The regulated breath is typically quite activating, and followed by an integration phase, where you are still in an altered state of consciousness, but breathe normally. Afterwards I guide you back, and we discuss your experience, if desired.

While you are in a higher state of consciousness, you will likely experience your intention in some shape or form. For example, if your intention is to embody more self-love, you might feel how loveable you are in every cell of your body. Or you might suddenly have a new perspective on a situation involving self-love. Sometimes most insights come after the breathwork session.

Note, that it is best to have no expectations to open yourself to the fullest experience possible.
The regulated breath that I will guide you through is generally safe. For example, you can choose the intensity and frequency of your breath according to how you feel. If you have severe health conditions and difficulties breathing, then check with your medical team if breathwork is advisable to you at this point.
No, this is not necessary. You might not have words for your intentions, or might prefer to keep them to yourself. You are still welcome to discuss them with me, if it feels supportive.
From my experience, there is no difference between an online or in-person session, regarding the depth of transformation that is possible. It is rather a matter of personal preference. For some people, in-person sessions feel more supportive due to the physical proximity. Others prefer online sessions, in a quiet place at their home, potentially with their camera turned off for a more private experience. Choose what aligns most with your preferences and current needs.
For your online Breathwork session you will need a mobile device or a computer with Zoom installed. You will receive a Zoom link for our video call after your booking.

As a location, I recommend picking a calm, comfortable and tidy room where you feel at home and won’t be disturbed during the online session. Dress in comfortable clothes, in which you can easily relax.

Recommended equipment includes: a comfortable chair or something similar where you can sit straight, a sofa/bed/matt where you can comfortably lie down, a glass of water, a blanket and/or hot water bottle, especially if you tend to feel cold, and head- or earphones.

I also recommend not eating 1-2 hours before your online session, and reserving some down time for yourself after our session together.
For your in-person session, come with clothes in which you feel comfortable, or bring clothes to change into, there is a separate room to change.

I also recommend not eating 1-2 hours before your session, and reserving some down time after our session together.
I offer in-person sessions in central Vienna, Austria, close to Naschmarkt. The location is easily accessible with public transport, and within a 5-10 minute walk from subway stops U4 Kettenbrückengasse, U1 Museumsquartier and U3 Neubaugasse.

The address is: "Praxisgemeinschaft mowa" in Girardigasse 3/5 in 1060 Vienna. The room is located on the ground floor with wheel chair access.
Diamond breathwork is a form of energetic breathwork and has its name from “diamond plasma”, an exalted form of energetic light. I channel the diamond plasma during a Diamond breathwork session, and from my understanding, it is one of the main reasons for the depth of transformation that is possible.

I have no scientific proof around the diamond plasma, and as a trained scientist, it feels uncomfortable to work with things that I cannot scientifically explain or prove. However, I observe the immense impact it has on my clients and myself, and believe that other pioneers, like Albert Einstein or Nicola Tesla also allowed themselves to work with things they could not explain (yet), but whose incredible impact they could observe.

During an energetic alignment I balance and harmonise the energy systems in your body using the diamond plasma. In an in-person session I will do this through physical touch, in an online session through the quantum field. So far, the effect has been similar in online and in-person sessions.

Testimonials

After every breathwork session with Andrea I felt loosened, relaxed, thankful and revived. With the inner knowing that everything will be okay somehow. As if I got to know myself and love myself a bit more after each session. With her peace of mind, her connection to nature and her authenticity, Andrea created an atmosphere in which I felt held and safe. As if the sun would give me a hug.
— Viola
Andrea is very empathetic and patient. She creates a safe space in which all emotions are welcome. I felt very comfortable. She has a very keen sense of what is needed in a particular moment.

I benefited a lot from her work – after each breathwork session I felt strengthend, full of trust and in my center. I am very thankful and recommend Andrea full heartedly.
— Anna
My psychotherapy sessions often feel exhausting. All the talking and trying to find the right words. During the breathwork sessions with Andrea, I don't need to do anything: I just need to breathe and be present, the rest happens by itself. And I feel wonderful afterwards. My psychotherapist says she is starting to feel a bit jealous.
